The Refresh with Reese Builders Kicks Off!

Reese Builders is proud to launch our brand-new HGTV-style series, The Refresh, with a spotlight on what we do best: custom woodworking and trim carpentry in the Des Moines area.

In our premiere episode, Beaming with Light, Luke and Karen invite you inside a stunning new home in Central Iowa, where every detail has been thoughtfully curated—and where our craftsmanship adds the perfect finishing touch.

From the moment you step into the living room, you’re greeted by soaring ceilings and an airy, open layout. Our team designed and installed hand-crafted wood beams that not only draw the eye upward but also ground the space with architectural character.

In the kitchen, we brought cohesion and elegance with a custom hood vent that blends seamlessly into the cabinetry, proving that even functional elements can be beautiful.

The primary bedroom carries the design language forward with another set of bespoke beams, echoing the natural textures and clean lines found throughout the home. It’s a subtle yet powerful feature that pulls the entire space together.

This home is a testament to the idea that thoughtful details, when done right, can elevate an entire space. Stay tuned for more episodes of The Refresh with Reese Builders as we continue highlighting the artistry behind custom carpentry and home design in Iowa’s most inspired spaces.
