About Reese design + build
At Reese Design + Build
We thoughtfully design and transform homes into spaces our clients genuinely love — using natural materials and durable craftsmanship. With clear communication, clean job sites, and a collaborative process, we make your experience as exceptional as your finished home. From concept to completion, we handle the details so you can enjoy the journey.
Luke Reese
Luke is the owner of Reese Design + Build and has been in the construction industry for over 26 years. A master trim carpenter by trade, he brings a strong eye for detail and a big-picture mindset to every project, often helping clients see possibilities they hadn’t considered.
What he enjoys most about his work is the client interaction—solving problems, dreaming through ideas, and coming up with thoughtful, practical solutions alongside a strong team. When he’s not working, Luke loves traveling, spending time with family, getting outside on his bike or the trail, and soaking up time in the mountains or by the ocean.

Chris Sayre
Project Manager
With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, including more than 10 years in construction management, Chris brings extensive hands-on knowledge to every project. His favorite part of the job is turning a client’s vision into reality in the field, and getting to be a part of the team that brings that to life. When he’s not on a job site, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four daughters, playing sports, watching football and basketball, and hopes to travel more in the years ahead.
Christy Baldwin
Marketing Manager
People and their life stories are two of her biggest passions. As a professional photographer and content creator, Christy brings over seven years of experience in visual storytelling, brand strategy, and digital marketing—helping businesses and brands connect with their audience in meaningful, authentic ways. She loves capturing people and their passions as they are—real, raw, and authentically beautiful. With roots in Hawaiʻi and California, she’s always finding her way back to the ocean, shooting lifestyle brands, surfing, and chasing sunsets. At home, she’s usually making an iced latte, spending Saturdays at the farmers market, or having kitchen dance parties with her daughter and their giant, teddy-bear dog, Hilo.
Jesse Sage
Business Development Director
Jesse, a mission-driven entrepreneur, is a former Army Ranger, with 8 deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan with over 600 Joint Special Operations. A two time Purple Heart recipient, he has over two decades of experience in elite military operations and high-performance leadership. He began his journey in the trades as a teenager, working from framing through finish carpentry and helping build homes from the ground up. Jesse believes in timeless architecture, veteran-crafted resilience, and building to the highest standards of health, performance, and durability. He is passionate about mentoring fellow veterans and supporting trauma recovery through an organization he founded, Wounded Heroes. He loves coming alongside business owners, veterans, and people in all walks of life, encouraging them to reach their full God-given potential. Jesse loves living in Ankeny with his wife Elisabeth, being with his family, spending time with friends, volunteering in the community, staying active, living out his faith, and pursuing whole health practices.

Jordan has always loved working on anything with his hands, from carpentry to cars. He loves the process of making things come to life, and being able to help client’s dreams become real life. He is recently married, and he and his wife Emma love being outside, spending time with family, and hope to one day be missionaries to Togo.
Jack Reese
Craftsman
Jack, a finish carpenter with Reese Design + Build, has been with the company for five years. He loves doing large scale home renovation projects, handling everything from demolition to the final trim and finishing details. His favorite part of the job is seeing the completed space and the transformation that comes together at the end of a project. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and learning about different cultures around the world.
Katie Neighbour
Designer + Project Coordinator
Katie has spent over seven years working in design and construction and loves being part of the Reese Design + Build team. She works across interior design, graphic design, 3D modeling and renderings, and custom casework, bringing both creativity and thoughtful detail to each project. For Katie, it’s always about the people. She loves getting to know clients, hear their stories, and help shape spaces that feel personal, functional, and truly lived in. One of her favorite pastimes is dreaming and planning to build a home with her fiancé and creating a small homestead. She treasures spending time with her family and loves her “grandma hobbies”- quilting, sketching, and baking.
